Albanien (Süden) und Griechenland (Ionische Inseln: Korfu, Lefkáda, Kefalonia, Itháka und Zákinthos); Es wurde von Delforge (2005) auch die Insel Hvar in Kroatien, der Peloponnes sowie das griechische Festland usw. angegeben, was möglicherweise auf Verwechslungen mit ähnlichen Arten beruht (Griebl und Presser (2021)). Delforge (2016) nennt nur mehr die Ionischen Inseln, Kreutz (2024) nimmt noch das südliche Albanien dazu.

Krautige Zonen des Brachlands, extensives Kulturland, Wiesen, Phrygana, lichtes Gebüsch, lichte Wälder und Olivenhaine; im vollen Licht bis Halbschatten auf trockenen bis frischen Kalkböden; bis in 800 m Höhe
